Annette's WindfallChristopher K. passed away with no immediate family. Court-appointed genealogists could not discover any heirs. After they gave up, we managed to locate a daughter. This is her story:
Almost 20 years ago, a young French student came to the United States to study for a year while in college. She became close with Christopher K., and after returning to France had his child, a baby daughter, out of wedlock. Metrosearch located Annette B., now 18 years old, living in a small town in France and brought the court’s attention to her whereabouts. We succeeded in claiming Annette B. rightful inheritance from the father she never knew. Her completely unexpected windfall, a $60,000 inheritance, has enabled Annette to attend university in France. One of our favorite cases was that of Buster G, an elderly and simple gentleman who struggled to live with dignity.
A number of years ago, Buster purchased a piece of vacant land as an investment property for $500.
